Personality Development through art -  

Vyaktimatwa Vikas shibir (Pesronality development workshop)

Kalapini has been organising Pesronality development workshops for children who are in the agegroup of 6 to 16 (1st to 10th standard), since last 12 years. These are held in the month of May, when the students are having their summer vacations.
The aim of this activity, is to train the school children in theatrical activities of acting, play writing, dance, music etc along with personality development through sports, mental games, drawing, clay making, handicrafts, etc.
These workshops started in 1995, initiated by Mrs Anjali Karhadkar, who is herself a professional actor and director of plays, as well specialises in children workshops.
Currently the activity is carried out by Mrs Meenal Kulkarni, a Bharatnatyam professional and teacher. 'Kala Vikas Manch' is a project for child artists participating in kalapini's drama competitions. The youth and also experienced artists participating in competitons. All members of this manch meet together once in a week to discuss indiviual performance openly and suggestions are accepted with positive spirit.

Teacher workshops : Kalapini has been conducting workshops for the school teachers, training them on the topics of direction, make-up, lighting, sets, script writing etc. These help in improving the quality of the plays created from such trained persons in the respective schools. These workshops are being held for 6 years till now.

Sujaan Palak Manch : Organisation of parents for their self development in cultural field & also personality development of their wards through art. (In association with Sakal, Lokmat, Loksatta.),

Mahila Manch : It helps for Expression of art by women in Talegaon & vicinity. Recently a special event was organised by Loksatta, Talegaon Nagarparishad & Kalapini Mahila Manch to felicitate 24 creative & successful women for their achievements in respective fields.

Adhyatma Manch : Study Philosophy from the ancient Granthas in relation with present situation, and how these ancient books are useful today to improve our everyday life.
