Kalapini has been conducting the play reading competition to create a stage for the upcoming artists including children and adults in the field of Vachik Abhinay. Different schools and institiutions actively participate in this yearly event.

Nearly 10 - 15 teams present their plays of duration varying from 15 - 20 minutes. Recently primary & Final rounds have been arranged, both in school & adult segment.
