Kalapini invites a very famous personality each year in April, to celebrate its Foundation Day. Different celebrities invited till now are :

Sudha Karmarkar, Vasant Kanitkar, Yashwant Dutt, Nilu Phule, Shashi Kapoor etc.

The function starts with the 'Stuti Geet' about the person, followed by a small performance by Kalapini artists from any play performed by the person, then the felicitation of the personality, felicitation of numerous actors, volunteers & backstage artists of Kalapini at the hands of the guest and then Mulakhat (Interview) of the celibrity for the audience.
